Dating a mormon girl. Most want nothing to do with the church. Keep the relationship casual. I hate to say it, but if you are serious, go explore her world. Because Utah mormons are waayyy different than mormons everywhere else. Marry a person based on his character, not his religion. Because service is important in the Mormon faith, she may be interested in doing something that will help others, like helping someone clean their yard. We keep getting more and more wedding invitations to our apt and with each one I feel like my dreams float farther and farther away. Because Mormons retain old-fashioned values, Mormon girls are raised in a traditional environment by good fathers. I'm going to disagree with what some of the people have said.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. IE в the comment about not having a husband to give priesthood blessings, etc. He isn't always around for holidays, birthdays, or anniversaries. I can pray for and with my youngest daughter and bless her thru prayer. We always went every Sunday, had family prayer and scripture reading, etc. What my boyfriend and I used to do when we were long distance is write really, crazy long emails to each other almost as long as my blog posts. You will have to convert and betray your ideals to keep the relationship alive.
